How to Make a Three Ingredient Smoothie

How to make the Strawberry Banana Three Ingredient Smoothie

This is my favorite version of how to make a three ingredient smoothie. This one has an apple juice base, peanut butter, and frozen fruit.

Ingredients:

  • Apple juice
  • Frozen Strawberries and bananas (could call this two ingredients- but they’re in one bag- so let’s go with one)
  • Peanut butter

Directions:

  1. Pour frozen strawberries and bananas into the blender. I do not measure, I just do maybe a handful or two.
  2. Take a tablespoon and put 1-2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter in the blender.
  3. Pour apple juice in the blender until it covers the other ingredients with a little extra.
  4. Blend it up. I like to start by pressing “crush ice.” Then I press “mix,” then “puree,” then “liquify.” I like mine really smooth, so this sequence works well for me. Feel free to experiment and make it your own.

Smoothies are such a good go to breakfast for me. Apple juice, peanut butter, and strawberries with bananas are my favorite go to breakfast smoothie so that’s why I chose to share this one with you today.

Strawberry/Banana/Peanut Butter/Apple Juice Smoothie

I drink this for breakfast every morning. Knowing what I’m having for breakfast helps me to be ready for the day and I always keep these ingredients in stock.

I like that by pre-making this daily decision, I’m always getting my fruit in at the beginning of the day and it helps me make healthier choices.
