Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 ripe bananas (brown in the outside is okay- but I prefer no brown on the inside)
  • 1/2 cup salted butter (melted)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Grease a loaf pan (9×5) and preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Put the bananas in a bowl and use a fork to mash them up and mix in the 1/2 cup of melted butter.
  3. Add 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2/3 cup sugar, and 2 eggs and whisk.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt and fold it in.
  5. Pour the dough into the greased loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 60 minutes.

Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups White Lily Flour
  • 1/4 cup of oil (I currently use Canola)
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2/3 cup of milk

Directions:

  • Mix up the ingredients
  • Flatten out the dough
  • Cut out the biscuits
  • Put them on the greased pan and pop them in the oven at 475 for about 8-10 minutes
