Math
In the beginning, teaching math is things like counting aloud with your toddler, measuring ingredients together while you bake cookies, or discussing the cost of the food at the grocery store as you choose a piece of fruit.
Math is very much a part of daily life, so discussing it as you do things is a great way to make it relevant. You can point out fractions as you share a pizza for dinner and as your kids understand it better, ask them questions and help them if they don’t understand.
